The University of Akron hired former Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel on Thursday and gave him the job title of vice-president of strategic engagements.

A better title would be vice-president of drawing attention (and hopefully donations) to a university that doesn’t usually get a lot of either of those.

Anybody else notice Tress attired in Akron’s school colors (blue and gold) at the press conference?
